Port Jersey Railroad provides access to excellent facilities for importing and exporting products, along with the support services necessary to do so.

Global Terminal and Container Services, Inc. operates a container ship terminal at 302 Port Jersey Blvd. Two berths, totaling 1800 feet, provide 42 foot draft. Six cranes rapidly handle loading and unloading ships, to and from 98 acres of marshaling area. PJR track is adjacent to the terminal.

Global is the closest container terminal to the harbor entrance, saving 4 hours of ship transit time. Hapag Lloyd, NYK Line, OOCL and P&O Nedlloyd ships all call at Global. Further information about Global can be found on their web site at http://www.global-terminal.com

Transloading break-bulk goods between containers and railcars is available at East Coast Warehouse Corp, served by PJR. This facility provides a variety of Customs services, including bonded facilities, container examination, VACIS and Foreign Trade Zone capability. East Coast is adjacent to the Global terminal.
